Sharp electronic profile at SPOT 09 May 0, 2003

Jab Mica och el

With its 15 names that span from experimental electronica over gameboy-electro to danse-happy-house, SPOT 09 has sharpened its electronic profile. In order to create a more concentrated club atmosphere, The Concert Hall Århus’ smallest stage, Filuren, has been set up as the festival’s electronic center. Exchange between acts and DJ’s will take place here, accompanied by enticing visuals. The electronic names are chosen in collaboration with P3 Live and the EMMA Association (the association for the electronic music scene in Århus).

Je m'apelle Mads & Mette

By Friday, May 30th, Filuren’s programme will be completed by EMMA (the electronic music scene of Århus). It will open with experimental sounds and close with a proper house-brag involving Wäldchengarten, K.I.O.L., Supersilent (N), Je m’appelle Mads & Mette, Jab Mica och el, samt DJ’s Carl K + jazzy guest stars and G- Ha (N).

Snospray

Slow Train

Saturday, May 31st, SPOT presents –in collaboration with P3 Live- a series of acts that move from jazz and dub inspired downtempo to animated breakbeats. B&B International, Slowtrain, Örtz, Snospray, and Ugress (N), along with the Danish-Norwegian DJ-team Ben Horn, can all be experienced at Filuren, while Jaga Jazzist (N) and Ralph Myerz & The Jack Herren Band (N) perform at Ridehuset.
